Floor Insulation
There is only one system we currently offer for under floor insulation. Find out more below.
Insulating your floor can help you reduce the heat loss in your home by around 10%.
Under Floor Insulation
If you have a suspended floor (usually timber construction) you could insulate it and save around 10% on your energy bills.
Modern homes built within the last 15-20 years will often have been built on a concrete slab, so won't have space beneath the floor to insulate.
Having vents below joist level (as pictured) on your external walls means your home is likely to have suspended timber floor construction and it could be worth insulating.
If you decide to have insulation professionally fitted, you could save up to £130 a year on your energy bills.
Under floor insulation will also help improve the thermal envelope of the building, reducing draughts and increasing comfort in your home.
When we install insulation on your property, we'll check that your ventilation in the under floor area meets the minimum requirements for maintaining adequate air flow. If it doesn't we'll install additional vents to prevent moisture build up in the floor space.
We install a net system which holds insulation in place, allowing it to breathe and we also lag pipework to ensure it doesn't freeze.
Heat Retention
Keeping heat from escaping through your floor will mean it stays warmer for longer.
Less Draughts
Having a better thermal envelope round your property will reduce annoying draughts and create a more comfortable living space.
Maintenance Free
Once installed, there isn't any maintenance requirements for your under floor insulation.
